Professor Lasker receives Harvard's Centennial Medal

Dr. Judith Lasker, our N.E.H. Distinguished Professor of Sociology, has been honored by Harvard University's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. In awarding her its highest honor, the Centennial Medal, the Graduate School recognized her distinguished contributions to scholarship in the areas of women's health and reproduction, global health and community building. This year's other Centennial Medal recipients were Bruce Alberts of the University of California, Keith Christiansen of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Leo Marx of MIT.
