Lehigh students to present research at professional conference

Three Masters of Sociology students from Lehigh will be presenting their original research at the Eastern Sociology Society (ESS) Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The conference runs from Thursday, February 23, 2016 until Sunday, February 26, 2016 and features the theme “The End of the World as We Know It?”

  • On Thursday, February 23 at noon, Frangy Pozo will present a paper entitled "Immigrant Activism and New Jersey In-State Tuition."
  • On Friday, February 24 at 3:30 p.m., Cynthia Pando will present "Barriers that Nurse Practitioners Face As Primary Care Providers in The United States."
  • On Friday, February 24 at noon, Elise Wolff will present "The Christian Science Church in Africa," as part of a roundtable on social movements and emerging groups.
