Anthropologist to speak about transnational families, March 25

Dr Cati Coe, Associate Professor of Anthropology at Rutgers University-Camden, will give a public talk on Tuesday, March 25 entitled "'Will I Lose My Children?' Cultural Capital and Transnational Parenting among Ghanaian Migrants." The talk will take place in Maginnes Hall, room 113 beginning at 4:10 p.m.

Dr. Coe's most recent book, drawn from years of fieldwork in Ghana and the U.S., is The Scattered Family: Parenting, African Migrants, and Global Inequality (University of Chicago Press, 2013).
